Dillon-Smith also praised support she has received from other women within the financial advice industry, stating: “I think the community of women that we have as well, particularly within St James's place, is amazing.
“We're all separate entities on paper, but the amount of times that we can all come together, whether we go to lunch, or have a meeting where we bring problems to each other and client situations that we need to talk about, is really helpful.
“I really lean into that because, going through this transition, nobody understands that within my friendship group, but those women do, so that's been a really amazing experience to have definitely been amazing the last couple of years.”
